Carys Owen – Managing Director BSc (Hons) PGDip MCIPD
A business leader recognised for her commitment to improve education in inner city schools, her passion for creative learning for adults and drive to create local employment has ensured that Capacity2learn has evolved and grown sustainably and continuously since its formation.
Carys owns and runs the Leicester based company and contributes heavily to key projects and learning events. Her background and experience as a project manager in IT and then a learning and development professional is evident in how she leads the team, manages suppliers and deals with clients. Defined goals, actions plans and measurable results are key to ensuring projects are delivered on time. Understanding the clients needs by experiencing their world, listening to their challenges and anticipating their potential results in ground breaking projects that far exceed the clients original requests.
Carys continues to deliver training and coaching to corporate clients. Having delivered learning and development programmes for multi-national companies across the world from bases in the UK, Europe and Asia, Carys’ sensitivity and effectiveness in facilitating learning for mixed-culture groups has earned her the respect of participants in her development interventions worldwide.
